When I first read this text in reference to today’s message I thought, well this will be interesting. This is a Free Methodist Church. Our roots are methodical, orderly, predictable for the most part, at least in our North American tradition.
Our text today is probably one of the best-known and best-loved chapters in the Bible, which is 1 Corinthians 13, The Love Chapter.
Today we’ll look at Paul’s words concerning the functioning of the body of believers. Paul addresses how our parts make up the whole. We all have our own part to play, our own job to fulfill.
Today we’ll look at how the ministry of the Holy Spirit is at work in our lives and in our church, in order that we may consider how we can experience the fullness of the Spirit's presence in all we do.
